STUDENT CONVENTION
A day of inspiration, growth, and dance awaits!
Each year, the Minnesota Association of Dance Teams hosts Student Convention, giving athletes the opportunity to learn from industry professionals, explore future opportunities, and experience every aspect of the dance world.
This year's theme, Beyond the Routine, focuses on life after high school dance—from collegiate dance teams and university dance programs to professional teams and companies. New this year, the 4×8 College Showcase gives dancers a firsthand look at the college recruiting showcase experience.

INTERESTED IN BEING A PART OF THIS EVENT?
ALL STATE
In 2025-2026, this event showcased over 270 student-athletes. Athletes are evaluated by each style and class, representing the best of the best in our state. All athletes participating in this event are nominated and voted on by Minnesota High School Dance Team Coaches. This event is held in early March each year.
Think of this event as our version of footballs, ALL STAR GAME.
COACHES CONTINUING EDUCATION
The 2024-2025 MADT Coaches Continuing Education was held at New Prague High School. Each year this event helps dance team coaches prepare for the upcoming season. Presenters vary each session and share information on coaching, sport specific training, and more!
This event is open to ALL Dance Team Coaches, an MADT membership is not required to attend.
