MADT Leadership Structure
The Minnesota Association of Dance Teams (MADT) is led by a dedicated group of volunteer leaders who work together to support coaches, athletes, officials, and the continued growth of dance team throughout Minnesota.

Executive Leadership
MADT is governed by an Executive Board consisting of the Vice President, President-Elect, President, and Past President. This leadership model creates a strong succession pipeline, allowing leaders to gain experience before serving as President while providing continuity and mentorship from past leadership.

Supporting the Executive Board are several appointed leadership positions, including the Executive Director, Treasurer, and Secretary, who oversee the organization's daily operations, financial stewardship, and administrative functions. The Executive Director also serves as MADT's liaison to the MSHSL, Judges' liaison, chairs the Ethics Committee, and fulfills the role of Historian, ensuring continuity, governance, and communication between organizations.

Board Committees
MADT's work is organized into committee areas, each led by board members who oversee programs and initiatives that directly benefit our membership. These committees include:
-
Coaches Celebration
-
Coaches Continuing Education (CCE)
-
Membership
-
Mentorship
-

Each committee collaborates with volunteers, coaches, and industry partners to develop resources, educational opportunities, and events that strengthen the Minnesota dance team community.
Activity Advisory
The Activity Advisory Committee works alongside MADT leadership to provide guidance, represent coaches from across the state, and help ensure that decisions reflect the needs of Minnesota dance teams. This collaborative approach allows MADT to remain responsive, forward-thinking, and member-focused.
Our leadership structure is intentionally designed to promote continuity, collaboration, and service, ensuring that institutional knowledge is preserved while creating opportunities for new leaders to contribute to the future of dance team in Minnesota.
